Fixed Term Contract until June 30th 2025 (35 hours per week)

Annual Salary £22,681 (Grade 4)

About Us

Swansea University Students' Union is an award-winning student-led charity and through our charitable and commercial activities and services, are the principal voice of students studying at Swansea University. We are led by elected students who reflect the ambitions, hopes and experience of our membership, and working together, we further their interests to bring about positive changes to improve their lives as students.

What exactly is this role?

Student Groups are our societies, sports clubs, academic representatives and liberation groups. This role provides guidance and advice in terms of their membership, elections, activity planning, finance, risk assessments and lots more. This role ensures that all students studying at each campus have equal opportunity to engage in activities and build student communities to create a sense of belonging whilst studying at the University

The position also supports the delivery of Union Elections, support our elected officers with their campaigning and manifesto objectives as well as working with the whole Union team on achieving our strategic objectives and sustainability targets.

What skills will you need? 

In this role you will work within the Student Voice Team and closely with all our student groups, the Union’s Full Time Officer and University colleagues.

You will be supremely organised, an excellent communicator and passionate about providing all students an opportunity to engage with others and have the best experience possible whilst at Swansea University.
