Role Summary

The I.T. Co-ordinator is responsible for maintaining the Union’s internal I.T. systems, liaising with university departments and third-party service level contract providers, purchasing and deploying hardware, and providing day-to-day support to our staff.

The role plays a key role in developing and supporting the Union’s I.T. systems including its Membership Data System (MSL), Epos, HR, Finance & Payroll (Sage), Website, and digital platforms.

The I.T. Co-ordinator will recommend technical solutions for projects and contribute strategic planning objectives through research and good practice. The position will work closely with other relevant staffing teams and provide strategic, and operational support to the Officer teams and Senior Management Team when necessary.

The successful candidate will preferably have at least one years' experience in a similar role and have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and its deployment across a corporate network.

This post requires the post holder to be on site on a day-to-day basis.
