About the role.
Events within the union are all about improving the student experience at Swansea University. Huge events including Freshers, Varsity and Summer Ball are held by the Student Union to have a lasting impact on our students and the university. Our Events team is one of the most dynamic and exciting within the union, and we are very excited to welcome some new faces into our team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Meeting and Greeting Students at our events
- Creating concepts for events
- Contributing ideas and opinions
- In person event promotion and ticket selling
- Helping to market and promote events using multiple online platforms
- Networking with Sports and Societies
We are looking for individuals who are:
- Extroverted - Happy to interact with students and to appear on camera
- Confident - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative
- Strong team work skills
- Enjoy a late night and happy to work flexible hours
- Marketing/Social media experience is a bonus but not a requirement
