Summary
The Welfare Adviser is a critical role in supporting the Students’ Union to deliver high-quality, free, independent, confidential, and impartial advice to students at Swansea University. They will join an experienced ASC team to provide excellent advice and support within the framework, standards and guidelines of Advice and Support Centre (ASC).
The post holder will provide advice, guidance, advocacy, representation and support to students at Swansea University on several matters including Academic, Housing, Employment, Benefits and Personal issues.
This post is front facing and therefore requires the post holder to be on site on a day-to-day basis.
The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree in a related field and at least 1 year’s practical experience of casework, advice or advocacy.
