Full-time, 35 hours per week

Annual Salary £19,612 (Grade 4)

We are an award-winning Students' Union and through our charitable and commercial activities, are the principal voice of students studying at Swansea University.

We are now recruiting for a Web Developer to develop and support the delivery of a new digital engagement strategy.

This exciting new position will be responsible for maintaining the Union’s student membership system (MSL), front end development of the Union’s website, third-party service level contract providers and liaising with all Union departments.

As a key member of the team, the Web Developer shall ensure that their work within the IT and Membership System Department aims to achieve immediate and long-term targets in order to showcase the Union and its progress towards its strategic objectives. This will require a digital roadmap to reflect these milestone targets and key objectives.

The successful candidate will have a degree and/or equivalent CIM qualification in Front-End Web development or relevant training/experience in computer science or system management. They should also have excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS and JS. Ideally, they will have a good understanding and ability using Office 365, SharePoint and Flow.
