Our elected Officers work with our 60+ permanent staff, 100+ student staff and hundreds of volunteers to deliver our strategic goals in line with our values.

Summary

The Student Voice & Opportunities Manager will lead the Student Voice Team and oversee the Union’s activities within the key areas of student democracy, representation and student groups (student leaders, societies, sports clubs, student reps, volunteers). There are also responsibilities within the role to lead and support the Union’s sustainability activities.

The post holder shall provide day to day management and decision making and ensure a strong focus on achieving team and organisation wide strategic objectives which provide a lasting impact to the student community. This position also supports the Union Full and Part Time Officers with their roles in representing the student body.

The successful candidate will preferably have at least two years' experience within a student engagement role as well as relevant management experience of leading successful teams.

This post requires the post holder to be on site on a day-to-day basis.
