Fixed Term Contract – 15 hours per week for 14 weeks

Hourly Rate – Real Living Wage UK Rate (Currently £9.90)

We are an award-winning Students' Union and through our charitable and commercial activities, are the principal voice of students studying at Swansea University.

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Social Media Marketing Assistant (Intern) within our Marketing Department.

You’ll be responsible for executing social media marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement and sales. You’ll be tasked with creating, scheduling and posting content across social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok and Pinterest. You’ll also be responsible for community management of our online communities. This is an ideal opportunity to develop skills across a variety of marketing disciplines, including social media, copywriting, branding.

1. Execution of all social media activities (i.e. tweeting, sharing, engaging, liking, increasing social reach etc).
2. Tracking and reporting upon the success of social media marketing efforts using analytics.
3. Growing social channels, fostering conversations and building a community of engaged followers.

4. Working with the Communications Coordinator & Commercial Marketing Manager to develop social media strategies for selected campaigns and/or brands.
