Full-time, 35 hours per week

Annual Salary £20,092 (Grade 4)

We are an award-winning Students' Union and through our charitable and commercial activities, are the principal voice of students studying at Swansea University.

We are now recruiting for a Communications Co-ordinator to deliver key communications, in both Welsh (via our Welsh Translators) and English language, to our diverse and dynamic membership.

Working from both Singleton and Bay Campuses, the successful candidate will support our Marketing and Communications Team in effectively engaging with students, staff, local community, University, alumni, and other stakeholders. The role will encompass all aspects of our communication strategy to improve and develop how the Union connects with others, both internally and externally and will also provide guidance and advice to our student media groups to aid and support their development. This includes editing our Waterfront publication and supporting the student journalist contributors.

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree or equivalent qualification and ideally good experience in a similar role. They will have excellent social media knowledge and skills with good experience of planning and delivery campaign communication strategies.
